About Carly Herbert, LMFT

2133755581Life isn’t going well for you.

As a young adult, you feel like you’re doing everything wrong. People tell you that ‘if you were just happy,’ everything would be okay, but most days, you feel stressed, depressed, and unhappy.

You’ve been trying to discover who you are, but you’re afraid of becoming someone you don’t recognize when you look in the mirror. You wish you could find relief from the turmoil in your mind.

Having used substances in the past and now getting clean, life has become unmanageable. You’re unsure where you fit in the real world and feel powerless over your life.

Therapy can help improve your life.

My holistic approach to therapy is Emotional Transformation Therapy. In this therapy, we examine how you are attached to the problem and allow the distress to fade. It doesn’t sound easy, I know, but through my calm and very empathetic experience, the results have been amazing.

I genuinely care about your healing and dedicate myself to the therapeutic process. We’ll examine what has caused your limiting beliefs. I’ll show you how to take responsibility for your life, and you’ll see just how powerful you are through this practice.

I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and strengthen their relationships. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I work to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Break free from your limiting beliefs and stress. Be shaped into the person you want to be. Find peace of mind. Discover how you can manage your life with ease.

About Me

HerbertWelcome!

Hi, my name is Carly Jane Herbert, a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist by day and a wife and mother at night. I have been married to my husband since 2014, but it’s a fun fact that we met in second grade. I love being a mom to my daughter Katherine who is full of life and a Disney fan (like her mom.)

I graduated from Cal State University, San Bernardino, with a BA in Psychology in 2012 and then got my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cal Baptist University, Riverside, in 2014.

As long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a therapist. Through my life and my own trials and tribulations, I have dedicated myself to being a safe space for people who are hurting and need a healing connection.

I look at therapy with me to re-discover who you are and like the way you feel about your life. At the beginning of my journey, I worked with children and teens in groups and individually processed their depression, anxiety, and traumas. I then went to work for the County of Riverside Detention Facility, where I taught willing members about turning their lives around from substances and fostered recovery. From there, I started working in private practice, where I was able to help many people change their lives.

I opened Herbert Healing Marriage and Family Counseling to be able to connect with my clients to help change their lives. I deeply care that therapy can be a journey for you to grow and allow new opportunities to emerge.
