About Jessica Rose, AMFT

1777230695Life comes with a few hard knocks.

I am convinced that almost everyone has experienced or is currently experiencing a hardship. I know I’ve had my share. Life is messy, and some of us have a hard time finding our way out of the grips of depression, addiction, anxiety, and trauma.

Sometimes, it feels like nothing helps, and we often feel cynical about asking a therapist for help.

“The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it.”

– Lion King

Therapy is a tool.

Many people think therapy is simply going through their past and tying up loose ends. Therapy is more than that.

Therapists are meant to help guide you through the decisions you want to make about life. You are the biggest factor in the success of therapy. You determine how much effort you want to invest in your healing journey – I am here to motivate you and encourage you.

I am a believer in eclectic therapy. I believe in meeting every person where they are in their healing journey. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to working with each individual’s particular needs.

As a clinician, I pride myself on being understanding, considerate, and dedicated to my clients. I have had the privilege of seeing people make life-changing choices, and I have seen how therapy can help people find their confidence and real healing. I would know since that was my personal experience in therapy.

I offer therapy to children, couples, teens, substance abusers, OCD, and families.

About Me

Jessica RoseWelcome!

My name is Jessica Rose. I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from California Baptist University with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and am here to help you navigate life’s maze.

As someone who’s been through several traumatic events, I know how difficult it is to find someone you can trust to be kind, encouraging, and nonjudgmental. I take great pride in my ability to make each client feel heard, understood, and cared for.

Who is Jessica?

I speak Spanish fluently. I am a passionate coffee lover, music enthusiast, and the coolest nerd. I love my family deeply – they are my whole world.

I love spending time in my living room! My husband and I love introducing and nerding out to late 90s and early 2000s Disney movies and Harry Potter/Lord of The Rings movies with our children. I love long walks to my coffee machine, where I devour liquid motivation to get through my day.

I love a good laugh, hard work, and a good cry.

Life is NOT a box of chocolates.

Forest Gump was wrong about this one. Life is like a bag of rocks when you’re struggling with mental health issues. So let’s work together and make life as sweet as chocolate.
